-SUK ball point sewing needle for jersey, size: 70/11 - 80/12. Use a stitch length in between 2mm – 3mm. -Use a teflon/non-stick foot to facilitate sewing. -Lower the presser foot tension if your sewing machine allows it. -When you have the gather done, and it is evenly distributed, you can fix it in place with stitching. -In the case of tulle, in general, the seam edges do not need to be neatened because this fabric does not fray. If you do want to finish off the seam allowances, we recommend using an overlock or, failing that, an open zigzag stitch on the sewing machine. You can also use French seams for the straight seams to achieve a polished finish.
