Bubble Rug, a crochet pattern created by Maria Atelier using Katia Winter Washi
My name is Maria and I’m the hands and the creative mind behind Maria Atelier. I’m a computer programmer, decorator and window dresser, but for the past few years I have been devoting myself to what I really feel passionate about: design. Therefore, in this Craft Lovers I’m sharing this tutorial showing how to make a Bubble Rug that you can use to decorate any part of your home. When it came to designing a rug I wanted to steer clear of the classic type made using t-shirt or fabric yarn, and go for a more elegant and functional design. Above all, I wanted it to be a project that would be easy to crochet and could be adapted to any space. And as you can see, you can also make the Bubble Rug as big as you want! Furthermore, I used Katia Winter Washi which is ideal for the kids to play on at home thanks to its soft and warm characteristics. I hope you fill your living room full of bubbles! Just combine your favourite Winter Washi colours and follow my Bubble Rug crochet pattern.
