🐰 Sew this Easter basket step by step
1️⃣ Padded bottom: cut a rectangle of foam (30 x 21.5 cm) and sew strips of fabric on top until it is covered. Round off the corners and cut it out.
2️⃣ Sides of basket: measure the circumference of the bottom and cut out a strip of foam that length, adding a couple of centimeters. Quilt this strip with strips of fabric and join it to the bottom by sewing around the circumference.
3️⃣ Handle: cut a strip of fabric measuring 13 x 48 cm and a strip of foam measuring 5 x 48 cm. Wrap the fabric around the foam, sew along the edges and attach the short ends of the handle to the basket.
4️⃣ Lining and finishes: cut and sew the lining pieces the same as the outer pieces. Place the pieces of the basket and the lining with right sides facing each other. Sew around the top edge leaving an opening, turn the basket right side out and close the opening. Finish off with decorative stitching and invisible stitches to fasten the lining.
And this is how you create your own Easter basket 🧺🐣 with a unique, handmade finish! All that’s left is filling it with chocolate eggs, sweets, or little gifts to surprise your loved ones with.

✨ We encourage you to make this cute Easter basket and add a personal touch to your celebrations.
