What do you need to crochet a Unicorn Balaclava?
Well, 2 balls of Katia Bambi in the white or ecru color to make the hood and unicorn ears, one ball of Katia Bambi in yellow or mustard to make the horn and a magic star.

And for that touch of fantasy, one ball of Katia Miskita in color 100 for a spectacularly voluminous multicolor mane.

Of course, all these colors can be adapted to the personality of your “little magical beings.” 🦄 We encourage you to cut the mane strands with the help of your little one or ones. Enjoy the magic of Carnival and the joy of handmade things together!

Materials
- 2 balls of Katia Bambi in ecru (color 305)
- 1 ball of Katia Bambi in white (color 320)
- 1 ball of Katia Miskita (color 100)
- US J-10/6-mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Stuffing
- 1 pair of transparent poppers
- 1 safety pin
- Sewing needle and white thread

V = Increase: Work 2 stitches into the same stitch

Assembly and finishes

- Sew the top of the hood closed by joining C and D (as shown in the diagram)
- Overlap the neck A in the center of the base of the hood B, leaving 20 stitches on either side. Sew up and down, so that both pieces are joined.

3. Sew the ears on either side of the top of the hood.
4. Sew the horn centered between the ears and with a strand of yellow, work a decorative spiral around it.
5. Sew the star to the right side of neck A and the safety pin to the back.
6. On the left side of neck A sew a pair of transparent poppers and the other half of the poppers to the inside of the right end where the hood is joined.
7. Cut 30-cm lengths of Katia Miskita color 100 for the fringe and 60-cm lengths for the mane. Tie to the center spine of the hood forming 3 rows.
