If you’re just learning how to knit, you might feel overwhelmed with the amount of pattern options available. There are so many out there, so how do you know what to look for?  

The first thing is skill level. Patterns with an easy or beginner skill level will be better choices for your projects as you keep learning and improving.

The next thing you can do is to look for a kit. Kits come with the yarn you need for the project as well as the actual pattern, so you know they’re the right fit for each other. Then, if you already have your hook or needles you have everything you need to get started.
