This is a thick satiny yarn in a wide range of bright colours. Alaska can be used to make comfortable hand knitted poufs or cushions. Alaska is an extraordinary yarn for making novel fluffy rugs using different techniques.
Each ball weighs 100 grams and is 115 meters. This is a heavier weight yarn and we recommend using size 6 - 6.5mm (10 - 10.5 U.S) knitting needles. 6 balls of yarn are required to make a woman's long sleeve jumper in size 12. To make a 4x4" tension square work 12 sts and 16 rows. Machine washable up to 30ºC. Do not tumble dry.
