This yarn available in a large range of colours including basics and saturated Autumn and Winter tones. Merino Aran is a fabulous yarn for contemporary checked jackets and jumpers for both teenagers and kids. Merino Aran is also suitable for soft cable cushions and decorative knit and crochet accessories for the home.
Each ball weighs 100 grams and is 155 meters. This is a medium weight yarn and we recommend using size 4.5 - 5.5mm (7 - 9 U.S) knitting needles. 5 balls of yarn are required to make a woman's long sleeve jumper in size 12. To make a 4x4" tension square work 16 sts and 20 rows. Machine washable up to 30ºC on a wool cycle. Do not tumble dry.

Lovely yarn
A lovely soft yarn, knits up well and has structure to it. It should maintain it's shape very well. I would certainly buy it again.

Beautifully sumptuous
Magnificent yarn. Very soft & easy to work with. I am knitting a winter set (hat & gloves) for one of my daughters who is literally taking it as I finish a piece - hat and one glove gone!
