Use multi-color yarn for some colorful, warm weather projects

Are you ready for some colorful crochet projects but don’t like to tie in all the ends? It might be time to use a variegated or degrade yarn. But first, what are they and what is the difference?

Variegated yarns have multiple colors that repeat. The color repeats are usually shorter. These kinds of yarn are good for color pooling projects or patterns where you want color scattered throughout. 

Degrade yarns are similar to self-striping yarn but the color repeats are usually longer and they will transition from one color to the next more subtly.
